Indoor swimming pool Helene-Weigel-Platz

Located in the heart of the Berlin district of Marzahn, the swimming pool has been upgraded as a pilot project for energy efficient refurbishment beyond the level of the Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV) in addition to being made more attractive. The HP roof shell beams were particularly challenging with regard to the refurbishment of the mid-80s built indoor swimming pool, for which innovative renovation concepts were developed. The renovated swimming pool was honoured with the coveted “Public award” of the company for the concept and for operation.
