New blast furnace 8 in Duisburg

ThyssenKruppSteel AG operates in the Duisburg districts of Bruckhausen, Beeckerwerth and Hamborn among others the largest integrated metallurgical plant in Europe. To meet the increasing demand for flat steel products, a blast furnace was built in Germany for the first time in decades.
