Hamburg Moorburg Power Station

The coal fired power station is one of the most modern and efficient coal fired power stations in the world. Great importance was placed on the use of the latest technology and components. Here the double block plant is operated with dust firing. The output of the power station is 2x 827 MW, of which max. 450 MW are available as thermal power. For the unloading of the ships on the South Elbe river, the main storage facility was built, from which the fuel is transported to two coal storage facilities with a storage capacity of 320,000 tonnes for temporary storage.
